We're sorry to see you go. Follow the steps below to permanently delete your Lush account and associated data.

Before You Delete

  • • Account deletion is permanent and irreversible
  • • All your matches, messages, and photos will be permanently deleted
  • • Cancel your subscription first to avoid future charges
  • • Consider pausing your account if you just need a break

How to Delete Your Account

STEP 1

Open Lush App

Launch the Lush app on your mobile device and make sure you're logged into the account you want to delete.

STEP 2

Go to Settings

Tap on your profile icon in the bottom navigation, then tap the Settings gear icon in the top right corner.

STEP 3

Select "Delete Account"

Scroll down to the bottom of the Settings page and tap on "Delete Account" in the Account section.

STEP 4

Confirm Deletion

Read the information about what will be deleted, then tap "Delete My Account" and confirm your decision.

Data That Will Be Deleted

  • Profile information (name, bio, photos)
  • Match history and conversations
  • Likes, Super Likes, and Roses sent/received
  • Preferences and settings
  • Verification status
  • Activity history

Data Retained for Legal Reasons

  • Transaction records
    Required for legal and accounting purposes
    Up to 7 years
  • Reports you made
    Safety and abuse prevention
    Until resolved
  • Reports against you
    Platform safety
    As required by policy
  • Legal hold data
    If required by law enforcement
    As legally required

Can't Access Your Account?

If you've lost access to your account or cannot log in, you can request account deletion by contacting our support team. We'll verify your identity and process your request.

How long does account deletion take?

Account deletion is processed immediately. Your profile will be removed from discovery and matches within minutes. Complete data deletion from our backup systems may take up to 30 days.

Can I recover my account after deletion?

No. Account deletion is permanent and irreversible. Once deleted, your account cannot be recovered. You would need to create a new account to use Lush again.

What happens to my subscription?

If you have an active subscription, deleting your account does not automatically cancel it. Please cancel your subscription through Google Play Store or Apple App Store before deleting your account to avoid future charges.

Will my matches still see my profile?

No. Your profile will be immediately removed from all matches' chat lists. Your previous messages will show as "[Deleted User]" to your former matches.

Can I just deactivate temporarily instead?

Yes! If you want a break, you can pause your account instead. Go to Settings > "Pause Account" to hide your profile temporarily without deleting your data.

I can't access my account. How do I delete it?

If you cannot access your account, please contact our support team at hello@lush-app.com with the email address associated with your account. We will verify your identity and process the deletion request.
